About Us

 

Hi there! We’re a family of 3 living in Rome, Ga. We’re Kristi, Chip, and Sage. We’ve learned to live simply, love plenty, and make the most of what we have, and would like to help others do the same. Along the way, we’ve picked up some fairly useful know-how and would love to share it with you. Officially – VERY low-income, we’ve learned to make the most of what we have! Keep in mind, as you read this blog, that often there may be a faster and easier way to do things, but we’re into cheap or free. So if you need to stretch your dollar – no matter how many you have (or don’t have), we want to help you do it! Just check our blog regularly for the latest updates.

Chip is very creative. He’s a former housing designer and a great artist. He loves to be outside, and it’s hard to drag him in the house, unless there’s a good college football game on.

Kristi grew up with a mom that taught her how to hunt for treasure in the modern 2nd hand world and a dad that kept her in the garden the rest of the time. She grew up to love thrifting and yard sales, and has since learned to coupon, rebate, and enjoys entering contests in her spare time. Kristi is dealing with a horrid autoimmune disorder. She says she found her true calling being a housewife and homeschooling mom several years ago.

 

 

 

Sage is 15 years old, and should be president, because he could work all our problems out if he were. We know this, because he constantly tells us so. He loves to sew and wants to be a fashion designer.
